I can only state that I am very impressed with the follow-up and dedication to accuracy shown here by the vendor. Based on the dedication to customer satisfaction, I'm sure they will be tenacious with the factory. The vendor has also communicated that they have have coordinated with the factory to address specifications I reported as innacurate. I attest that the 2nd product is very good and accurate to the description. I have received a different Pankoo product to show that other products are quality. Comparison of Pankoo 16X52 Monocular Telescope, High Power Prism Compact Monoculars Vs VIVREAL Monocular Telescope 12X42 High Power Monocular for Bird Watching. However, I have to say this vendor very much cares about customer satisfaction and that goes far beyond my concerns over the initial order. At no time have I experienced a vendor on Amazon concern themselves with a negative post. I have experienced outstanding customer service and care since. The original product was not what I ordered and was returned with no problems. UPDATE: I have increased the original rating on this product from 1 to 4 stars due to customer service. I didn't get what was advertised, so I'll be returning. that is, it's on par with kiddie binoculars.ĭecent little case, cleaning cloth and wrist strap. Overall, for an inexpensive, low power scope, it's not bad. as long as what I paid for is what is advertised. I don't mind it when I "Get what I paid for". One weird feature, the eye relief adjustment moves the eyepiece in and out instead of adjusting the eyecup, so there are effectively two focus knobs. The focal length of the eyepiece is about 25mm. In this case, the focal length of the scope is about 125mm. Some users dont like how big it is in hand. Comes with a smartphone holder to capture images of what you are viewing. Magnification in a telescope is calculated by measuring the focal length (the distance between the objective lens and the eyepiece, and dividing that number by the focal length of the eyepiece. Has 16x magnification leading to easy spotting. So significantly less light gathering than advertised. The diameter of the lens is 41mm on my digital calipers. That means that it should have 16x magnification, and a 52mm objective lens (the diameter of the big lens at the end of the telescope that is furthest from your eye).
